Our Farmers

Meet our Aussie farmers

JACKWITZ FARMS

Jayke Jackwitz

Jackwitz Farms supplies us with an incredible range of fresh produce all year round. In the cooler months they grow crisp broccoli and cauliflower, while summer brings an abundance of sweet watermelons and hearty pumpkins.

Their commitment to quality starts from the very beginning, with each crop planted from seeds and seedlings, carefully fertilized, and nurtured to perfection. Once harvested, the produce is packed fresh at their farm and delivered straight to us, ensuring you get only the best.

Every step of the growing process is closely monitored by their agronomist, who provides daily updates on soil health, water levels, fertilizer use, and pest management, guaranteeing produce that meets the highest standards.

CORRAS FARM

John and Emmee

Meet John and Emmee, our local father and daughter farming team. This passionate duo supplies your table with the freshest produce including Green and Red Oak Lettuce, Bok Choy, Pak Choy, Coriander, Red and Green Chilli, Broadleaf Rocket and Basil. We buy direct from John’s farm which not only supports his family but also ensures your produce is as fresh as it gets. When you buy from us, you’re backing this local community too. Everything is picked and packed fresh, ready for your table that same weekend. Next time you see any of these items available, be sure to grab them.

BROOKFARM

Brook Family

The Brook family turned a run-down dairy farm in Byron Bay’s hinterland into a thriving macadamia orchard while regenerating ancient rainforest. Their passion for quality food inspired them to create Australia’s first macadamia mueslis, sold at the Bangalow Markets in 2000.

Over 20 years later, Brookfarm has grown into a global brand, but their values remain the same: real food, premium quality, and respect for the land. Today, son Will leads the family business with the next generation walking the orchards just as he once did.

WILAMAY FARMS

Wilamay Farms

Our Aussie garlic grower Simon is part of a proud third-generation farming family located in the fertile Salad Bowl of the Lockyer Valley and Somerset region. Simon and his family have carried on a tradition of farming that began generations ago, each adding their own touch and knowledge to the land.

Their motto says it all: Healthy soil grows healthy plants. Simon is passionate about caring for the land and maintaining rich, balanced soils to produce top-quality leafy greens, vegetables, and, of course, his incredible garlic. Over the years, his dedication to soil health has led to the addition of Certified Organic blocks, ensuring every crop is grown with the highest standards of care.

KENILWORTH DAIRIES

John Cochrane

At Kenilworth Dairies, passion for dairy farming runs deep. In 2017, John Cochrane took ownership of the iconic Kenilworth Cheese Factory, giving it a fresh start and a new name Kenilworth Dairies. His vision was simple: to support local farmers and help keep their craft alive for future generations.

Within weeks, milk was being sourced from farms throughout the Mary Valley, including John’s own son Kelvin’s farm in nearby Kandanga. Today, Kenilworth Dairies continues to champion local farming families, producing exceptional dairy products while preserving a proud tradition of regional farming.

Allegro Farm

Minsoo and Weiwei Allegro Farm

Allegro Farm in the Lockyer Valley is one of Queensland's only glasshouses dedicated to growing premium-quality tomatoes. Owners Minsoo and his wife Weiwei are passionate about cultivating and supplying safe, high-quality produce in a sustainable way. With their glasshouse, they can carefully control the environment year-round, ensuring consistent quality for consumers while protecting crops from the challenges of changing weather.
